An important Bengali ritual, in the late evenings of weddings is the “Bashor Raat”, which is hosted by the bride’s family and friends. A small group of friends and family gather with the couple and spend the entire night singing, dancing & playing games.

The Harmonium, Sitar and the Tabla all come out from their dusty corners, as everyone takes turns, one by one, to lend their voice to the night of singing.
